At our #rawrsome project team we are eager to give back to the community as much as we can. We are expanding our crypto/nft dictionary every time we encounter something interesting!

1/1 NFT – An NFT is 1/1 if only one piece exists of it.
1/1 Trait/Attribute – If a trait/attribute is 1/1 there is no other NFT which shares that property.
Block – A block is a package of transactions tied together and ordered into the blockchain.
Blockchain – Imagine it as a database, which holds information about transaction made on it. Although it differs from a “classic” database a lot. Most of the blockchains are publicly accessible, decentralized, distributed, hard to hack or change confirmed transactions, tend to call it “digital ledger of transactions”.
Candy machine minting – When you mint an NFT and get one randomly, like you would use (some) candy machine.
Cryptocurrency – Digitalized currency which system is maintained in a decentralized way. Cryptocurrencies tend to use blockchain as an open ledger. List of cryptocurrencies on Coinmarketcap.
Fork – Upgrade of the blockchain software.
Hard fork – The new upgrade on the blockchain is not compatible with the old logic. Interesting to read about Ethereum, which was created because of a hard fork.
Minting – The transaction which saves an NFT’s data on the blockchain.
