The existing perspectives in life prevail mostly in terms of positive and negative. Granted there is a myriad of gray that lies in between but often enough, the initial reaction is to be more categorical. The pessimist will typically see only the bad whereas the optimist looks for the good. The notion of the glass is half empty or full persists within this futuristic themed POV, night time cityscape. Is the individual leaping to their inevitable demise or are they making a leap of faith towards what is seemingly the future? Your interpretation is what matters and it’s you, the individual, that influences the meaning derived from this work.
