Jeff was a good guy indeed. We shared that filthy hole we called home for nearly five years. Cyberspace, the great drug of this time, had reduced his brain to a disco of drunken neurons. He was Jeff, almost a brother to me, my family. So, every time he would plunge himself again into the whirlpool, I knew I had to get out of the house and face the rainy nights to look for him in the alleys. That evening I found him after 4 hours, on the backside of the VUNG TAU. I had arrived on time.
