Here is the reality of Freelancing: You trade one boss for ten different bosses (clients), and all of them think they are your priority. The biggest myth is "freedom." When you don't work, you don't eat. There is no paid sick leave. There is no holiday pay. This creates a psychological trap where you feel guilty every time you take a break. You end up working more hours than you did in your corporate job, but for less security. Feast or famine cycles wreck your nervous system. One month you are rich, the next month you are refreshing your inbox praying for a lead. It requires a level of self-discipline that most people simply do not have.
