Manic Karma
Grief can look so different from person to person. About six years ago, a child had taken their pet for a walk in the park. They never returned home. A 9-day search was launched on that chilling winter. On the 9th day, a deceased dog was found a few feet away from a frozen lake within the park. Investigators marched on and figured out the tragedy that occurred. Kimbi the dog had chased a rabbit out onto the lake. It then fell onto a melting spot and Meredith ran after her beloved pet. She ended in the same position as Kimbi, deep into the freezing waters. She managed to push Kimbi out. But sadly, she could not get out herself.
Her grieving parents still struggle to accept the tragic reality. They continue to believe that Meredith and Kimbi are out there lost. The reality is, they are not missing, they are gone.
