Description
The foundation of the Roman Inquisition in 1542 by Pope Paul III. Set up to hunt down heretics; the Inquisition was feared for its brutality, torture and execution, as well as the taking of land from anyone who disagreed with the beliefs of the Catholic church. In 2021 we are, I believe, entering a new Renaissance, following the global 'Great Pause' and upheaval created by Covid-19.
