This is one of the pieces from the skeleton series I'm doing.

This painting was done by Roberto Escobar, days after seeing his brother Pablo Escobar for the last time in October of 1992. You can see death in Pablo's eyes, he was not the same Pablo that Roberto had remembered. Roberto smuggled canvas and paint into his prison cell, and was able to paint around 200 paintings as part of his rehabilitation being part of the Medellin cartel in the 1980s. This is his first painting, executed on October 28th, 1992 in Itagui Prison, Medellin, Colombia. Exactly 29 years ago of minting date.

This piece holds much significance to me personally as an artist because it was the last piece I did before receiving a follow from Drake himself on Instagram. This piece was inspired by the infamous rivalry between Drizzy and Kanye and I of course am #teamDrizzy???????? so here I have shown Kanye making his way up to his child hood home using a stack of Crates and Drizzy can be seen on the bottom ready to foil his journey:)
