David Stanfill was born on February 8th, 1970. He subsequently became the oldest of 6 children in his family. Years upon years of piano and trumpet lessons led him to begin writing music at the age of nine. As a child and young adult, he would constantly be writing music or drawing or painting. His mother would frequently lay an object down and ask him to draw it. This passion for art only grew when personal computers and Adobe Photoshop arrived. (Not to mention Premiere.)

Moving to Roanoke, Virginia at 17, David has since been in several successful bands, performing across the United States. He is a 10-year veteran of his current band, AXIS Five (www.AXISFIVEBAND.com) which is now producing their 5th album. For the last 25 years, he has supported his family by running his own web development business and by way of music.

With his wife and daughter by his side, his passion for creativity is apparent in everything he does. “Life is an art.”

David has just released his first NFT project, “Human Heart” on OpenSea.io. There will be many more collections coming right around the corner including a collaboration with his father-in-law, a quite famous painter… Stay tuned!
